Originally hailing from Australia, I have called San Diego home for the past 37 years. My journey in real estate began while supporting my husband in his pastoral career. In the Midwest, I ventured into real estate as a general contractor, constructing numerous custom homes. Transitioning to the role of a loan officer before becoming a full-time realtor, I bring a wealth of diverse experiences to my clients.

As a mother of two, including my son Michael, who has cerebral palsy, I understand the importance of perseverance and positivity in overcoming challenges. Born in St. Croix, the US Virgin Islands, this island girl now lives in sunny San Diego, with her three beautiful children, loving husband Gerald, and three playful dogs. Much of her life outside of work consists of spending most of her free time creating memories and sharing valuable experiences with those closest to her. My name is Maria-Esther Tapia Carson. I was born in Brawley, California but I was raised in Tijuana, Mexico. I grew up between two cultures and two languages. Therefore, I am biliterate in English and Spanish. I graduated from SDSU with a bachelor in Liberal Studies. I have been a teacher in the Chula Vista School District for more than thirty years. However, halfway through my education career, I found Real Estate and I fell in love with it. I have been in Real Estate for over 12 years. I enjoy the fact that just like in Education, I support and help families find their dream home where they can raise their children. In addition, I also help them sell their homes as part of the life cycle when is time to downsize or expand. I have been part of team Ratcliffe my whole Real Estate career and I feel proud of it.
